This restaurant is still a Gem! Service is still impeccable! This is the kind of restaurant with food made by a special Chef where you can't find anywhere else. Wanda knows all her regulars and what they like to eat. My favorite is still the duck breast but I like every item on the menu. This is just one of those places on my repeat eateries. It's a must try and one to put on your saved places.

My husband and I visited Sage Bistro two years ago and literally fell in love with the exquisite food and elite customer service we received from Ms. Wanda. We returned this weekend (Jan 2025) to partake once again! Our culinary experience was a dead-on match to our first visit in 2023. This place is a hidden diamond!! Til next time.

Think it is time for my another review for Sage Bistro after the pandemic. Boss lady and chef are still going strong. NICE AS EVER. I have been introducing families and friends to come and none of them get disappointed. This is such a hidden gem of Alhambra. They launched an anniversary 3 dishes special on a weekly basis ( pls call for special menus since it changes every week ) and it serves as a good option in case you want to do carry-out. Dinning area is clean and cozy so dine-in is always my first option tho. I love this place so much that I actually had my small wedding party here. We had a blissful time bec boss+chef bend over to accommodate for us. I can't recommend Sage Bistro enough !!

I love this cute little place in Alhambra. The food and service are excellent and there's plenty of parking in front of and behind the establishment.

Finally, french food place that is good! We need more out here in SGV. Definitely family-owned and have pride in their dishes. I really enjoyed the seabass the most. When you taste all items on the plate together, it felt like the ingredients harmonized. Ambience has some nice light melodic music, so it feels lighthearted. Wish they added more decorations to make it feel romantic for dates. Otherwise, good for a date if you want to take someone for some french food.

Easy to rate a restaurant that serve good food and friendly service. Everything will follow positively when you get the 2 main aspects of rating a restaurant. 1. Food= ribeye perfect medium rare Sea Bass really good. Linguini, seafood pasta and farfalle pastas are cooked al dente and flavorful. Jambalaya not your typical jambalaya but still good. Mac and cheese for the kids, i didn't taste it but my son ate it all. And is a picky eater. 2. Price = reasonable with the quality and quantity you get. 3. Ambiance = not a big factor of my review. 4. 1 server + 1 cook = 15 to 20 mins wait time for the amount of food we ordered and cooked perfectly is a plus. That cook or chef is good. Kudos to him.. As a restaurant owner myself, it is hard to run and maintain a restaurant. Only 1 star or 5 star counts. I believe sage bistro deserves a 5 star after my experience.. Good job and keep it up.

I gave it five stars not only for the food quality, but also for their pricing! Black AngusRib eye rare is perfectly neat. Nice flavor done. ! Cajun seafood pasta with garlic bread Plenty of seafood, and nice spaghetti Shrimp and garlic mashed potato Lots of surprises! Price is right with their quality of food

The food here is awesome. It's almost like an Italian-Asia fusion type of cuisine. The duck breast was very tender and vegetables are cooked through. The fat on the duck was also caramelized nicely and was very crispy. Owner was super friendly and kept cracking jokes throughout. Either she was in a good mood or she's just a natural-born comedian, but she made out dining experience very enjoyable.
